Fresh Food.
" Sales of fresh food
at retail stores continue
to stay elevated in
2021 compared with
prepandemic levels,
despite the continued
recovery of the
restaurant food service
sector, " according
to the report, which
surveyed 29 food
industry companies. " But
fresh food retailers and
product suppliers won't
be able to just coast on
their recent success.

service takes flight
Walmart is rolling out
its first drone delivery
service at three locations
in Northwest Arkansas.
The locations will
operate from 8 a.m. to
8 p.m. seven days per
week to deliver items
to eligible Walmart
customers by air in as
little as 30 minutes. The
service is a collaboration
between Walmart and
DroneUp LLC, a leading
global provider of drone
technology and services.

Wynshop, Shipt
partner on sameday
delivery
Wynshop, a leader
in digital commerce
for local store-based
retailers, has inked a deal
with Shipt, a shopping
and delivery company,
to offer a fully integrated
solution for regional
grocers to offer sameday
delivery to their
shoppers.
With customer
demand for online
services here to stay,
many grocers are looking
to expand their digital
capabilities, according to
Wynshop. According to
State of Digital Grocery:
Growth at the Cost of
Profitability, a recent
study conducted by
Incisiv and Wynshop,
the majority (77%) of
grocery retailers reported
their digital customer
experience lags because
they don't have an
end-to-end view of the
shopper.
This partnership
